Ariele Agro Gears up to Take Over South-Eastern Nigeria Fresh Eggs Market
  • Meet The Brand That Is Feeding South East Nigeria, One Product At A Time

When the CEO of Ariele Agro talks about agriculture, she doesn’t throw numbers at you. She talks about people — the ones who are hungry, the ones trying to stay in business, and the ones who just want to eat well. That’s what drives her. And that’s what gave birth to Ariele Agro, a branch of Ariele Group.

Her journey started with a video. A Zimbabwean farmer — “The ZedFarmer” — showing how one person could feed a nation by simply choosing to care. That was the moment everything shifted for her. Instinctively, knew she wanted to do more than grow food. She wanted to change lives.

The Ariele Agro team started with cassava on a small piece of land in Anambra. But they didn’t just grow, they listened. And when people in Enugu began discussing how difficult it was to obtain eggs, they took notice. Finally, after doing their homework, they realized there was a serious gap in the market. So they moved straight into poultry distribution.

That one decision changed everything.

Ariele Agro didn’t just start selling eggs. They started keeping poultry farmers in business through supporting them with capital, especially when feed prices were high and many were ready to give up. Over 900 people have been fed through their work, and farmers had a fighting chance again. They didn’t just build a supply chain; they built a supply chain. They built a support system — one that keeps eggs, poultry meat, manure, and by-products moving across local communities.

Now, Ariele Agro is expanding. With three distribution centers  already running in Enugu and Nnewi and plans to enter Nsukka, Onitsha, Abia, and Ebonyi, they’re building something serious. Recently, they partnered with the Ariele Foundation to launch the Feed Enugu State campaign, which aims to feed 1,000 persons in June 2025.

But they are not in a rush to do everything. They are focused. In the words of their CEO: “I’d rather build a company making billions in eggs than a company making the same billions in ten products,” she says. For her, the goal is to perfect their core product line before thinking of anything else.

And she’s not stopping at distribution. With the right funding, she wants to go deeper. Into production and building systems that can stand on their own. That’s the bigger dream.

Of course, it hasn’t been easy. There’s been the stress of capital, the issue of keeping the right staff, and all the uncertainty that comes with running a business in Nigeria. But she’s still here. Still pushing. And her advice to others in the field is simple: “Be resilient.”

Because this isn’t just about business. It’s about building a movement. One that feeds people, supports farmers, and proves that agriculture is powerful and can change people’s lives.

Ariele Agro is not just selling eggs. They are taking over the market. Quietly. Boldly. One product at a time.
