Kyrie Prints began in 2019 when Detunji Oluwadamilare Samuel started ordering merchandise for student events and campus parties. What started in a small hostel room at the University of Lagos as a modest side hustle was driven by a love of creativity and a heartfelt desire to turn ideas into something tangible. Since then, Kyrie Prints has evolved into a corporate event branding business with ambitions of becoming a recognised name across Africa.

Early Days and Growth

The company’s first customers were fellow students. Kyrie Prints produced merchandise and printed materials for campus events, for parties, and for other student activities. As the business grew, it became obvious to Samuel that printing was more than putting a design on a surface. He found out that it was also a way to communicate, to be seen, and to establish an identity.

Samuel had said, “We wanted to move beyond basic printing and build a brand that could provide creative, reliable, and professional branding solutions for both corporate organizations and event planners.”

A Shift in Direction

As days went by, Samuel realized that clients wanted something more than printing goods. He found out that they wanted branding that increases their visibility, that connects them with their audience, and stays in people’s minds. It was this insight that helped him reshape the company’s direction.

It was this realization that brought about the Kyrie Prints vision to help businesses become more visible, become more professional, and to be more competitive through branding. It holds that every business, whatever its size, deserves to present itself professionally and compete in the industry.

A Full-Service Branding Partner

Kyrie Print has grown from a student merchandise operation into a full-service corporate and event branding company. Its offerings include the following:

The company pays close attention to details, from the choice of materials to the finishing and the presentation of a branded space, because each shapes how people experience a brand. Just as Samuel said, we see ourselves as a branding partner.

What’s Next for Kyrie Prints?

According to Samuel, its ambition is to build a proudly African branding company that delivers
world-class solutions, creates opportunities for others, and helps African businesses and events present themselves to the world with confidence. And he believes it is only getting started.

KyriePrints’ next chapter will be filled with bigger opportunities, stronger partnerships, and a wider reach. And this is just the beginning, Samuel says.
